At Corcoran High School, we work to develop the mind, character, and physical wellbeing of our students through an environment of academic excellence and responsibility.
A proud part of the Corcoran Unified School District, Corcoran High School serves public school students in grades nine through 12. Our responsibility lies in preparing Corcoran’s future generations for college or careers, and we take that responsibility very seriously.
We believe that academic success requires a combined effort from home, school, and the community as a whole. Our teaching philosophy and educational programs revolve around tailoring to the needs and talents of each individual student, challenging each one to develop to his or her full potential.
Our Commitment to Technology in the Classroom
Our district’s passion for making 21st century technology devices accessible to every student plays a big role in our educational philosophy here at Corcoran High. We are committed to an “anytime, anywhere” learning environment, where students have access to the tools they need 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Here’s just a glance at the devices we provide:
- Mac laptops for teachers
- An Apple MacBook Air laptop with a YMAX router for home Internet access for students
- iPad carts for certain apps
- 802.11a/b/g/n wireless networking
- 2 Mac labs and 2 PC labs
